Cashroom has recently launched an in-house academy, primarily to support our expert cashiers with their qualifications and enhancing their skill set. Cashroom launched their partnership with ILFM as a training resource for client facing staff last year. The academy compliments this as well as providing a better onboarding process and training for all staff. Cashroom also support their accounts teams in AAT and CIMA qualifications. Having the academy on hand to support staff through their qualifications means Cashroom can increase their service offering and provide additional resource to clients.

I am a firm believer that there is something new to learn every day. As someone who has only worked within the legal industry for 2 years now, there is still a lot to learn. That’s why I was keen as soon as the Academy was launched to get on board and book onto the courses.
As a marketing professional, it is important to know as much as possible about the product and service your business provides. Product knowledge enhances your marketing skills through more in-depth content writing and fully understanding the customers journey and what struggles they may face that you can help resolve. This knowledge allows us marketers to create more engaging content that really resonates with consumers. I found the courses at the academy enhanced my knowledge specifically around the intricate details of how our clients communicate with our service team through our unique and secure portal and a better understanding of the overall customer journey.
A virtual Classroom
Not only is the academy a positive for the business by increasing our service team’s skill set, it also provides an hour where teams get together to learn. In the new working from home and hybrid culture, we can sometimes be left feeling disconnected, the academy also acts as a communication tool, staff members who wouldn’t usually be on meetings together are in the same ‘virtual’ room. The courses are also made interactive with quizzes and questions which creates a virtual learning environment which mirrors that of an actual classroom.
