This year is a remarkable milestone for Cashroom as we honor CEO Chris O’Day on his 10th anniversary. Chris’ journey began more than a decade ago, showcasing his unwavering dedication, innovative spirit, and commitment to excellence at Cashroom.
From Management Accountant to CEO
Chris embarked on his professional journey as a Chartered Accountant after gaining his qualifications at Deloitte. With a strong background in accounting and finance, Chris made a strategic move to Cashroom in 2014, assuming the role of Management Accountant. Collaborating with a diverse range of clients within the service team, Chris brought a wealth of experience and expertise, playing a key role in enhancing Cashroom’s operational efficiency and service excellence.
Chris’s sharp analytical abilities and profound grasp of legal finance enabled him to significantly elevate our client services, empowering firms to boost profitability and make well-informed decisions for their continued growth. By 2017, Chris was promoted to Client Services Director. In this position, he gained invaluable experience and a profound understanding of what is truly valuable to clients and an even deeper understanding of the pain points in the industry. His role was pivotal to shaping the client-centric ethos that Cashroom is renowned for today.
In 2021, Chris stepped into the role of CEO with a clear mission to steer Cashroom towards its next chapter of growth. His innovative vision is centered on challenging traditional industry practices and driving relentless advancements. Under his guidance, Cashroom has not only broadened its range of services but has also established itself as the frontrunner in providing efficient, compliant, and secure legal accounting solutions.

Another major advancement under his leadership was the launch of Cashroom’s Open Banking and Confirmation of Payee technology, two ground-breaking and industry first features that enhanced transparency, efficiency and speed of transactions and set a new standard for security and accuracy in payments. These technological advancements reflect Chris’ commitment to leveraging innovation and driving growth at Cashroom to meet evolving client needs and industry standards.
